LEAF XCEED Hub – Downloads Section

The LEAF XCEED Hub contains all the music I composed and remixed, starting from 2008 under the LEAF XCEED Music Division moniker. These were the very songs that allowed me to express myself musically for the first time on the internet, allowing me to have gained so many opportunities and listeners from all around the world, whose support I am still very much grateful for. All of these remain intact here, for free, with their individual release pages and the parts of me that I wrote down with them. I hope you enjoy 🙂

This page caters to the Website Releases series of my music as a tribute to my release process years ago. If you want to keep up-to-date with the newest releases, you can now find them on the following website:

However, the freshest news on LXMD can be easier found on the Facebook page:

  1. Niiiiiiice! Love the newer songs! Awesome! Cool! Everything! Cookies! … Wait, that doesn’t belong here! Lol

    • Nah, keep that there, I was getting hungry. j/k XD Really? Most of the newer songs are much softer and lacking in guitar ^^; I’ll get back to the usual sometime though, trust me x: Thanks for dropping by!

      • The usual? Does that mean “same as always”? Well, I must say I like expirimentals, and/or new ways/types of music! I love your guitar, but hopefully there will come something completely new!

PS: do you like dubstep? It’s THE newest music genre available! Check Sandroff on Myspace, my uncle, he makes dub-step! Give it a try!

      • You ates mah cookie!?!?!

      • YUO MAJ NOT STALKZ MAI!!!

  2. Is LEAF XECEED music division a one man show?

    • It doesn’t necessarily have to be, but 99% of the time it is, and it’s me. XD

    • Yep. Well, sort of.

So far I have two album plans; one being my “original compositions” album slated to have metal as the specific genre, but full of subgenres (power, symphonic, etc.), and the other is a video game remix album that will concentrate on only one game’s soundtrack.

I intend to finish the video game remix album first and more news will be given the more I get progress on it, since I’m probably around maybe 10% finished with it. XD However, the original album…that’ll take a pretty long time, but that’s exactly what it needs 😀

    • …nowhere anytime soon but the internet and its various facilities. XD When the remix and original albums are done, as well as any future major releases after completing Website Releases II, they’ll be both uploaded here as always but higher quality versions will be available for a significantly low price at bandcamp or similar website. o:

  3. Hello! Greetings! And a merry Christmas, I am Dubsh*t. I have both of your albums, and I am consistently captivated by your work. As an aspiring electronic musician, I am doing remixes for artists of various genres, to get my name out there. As you can see where this is going, I politely request the scratch tracks of “Guitar Vs. Piano [ver. XCEED]” of you, to remix them. I intend to release said remix free of charge. If you wich to contact me/spam me/send me threatening letters in the Anonymous voice, my contacts are:

  4. Hey 🙂
I discovered your music a couple days ago and was simply wondering, what kit and programs do you use to synth all that? It’s awesomely detailed and highly impressive and inspiring.

So how do you do it? How do you turn the epic ideas into real sound?

    JW

    • The kit I use is a free drum sample set from my favorite band, Machinae Supremacy, with the only exception being the kick drum which is just a free drum sample period. Of course, guitar synths all around ( read: RealStrat and anything MusicLab creates ), the built-in bass ( BooBass ) of FL Studio and a whole bunch of plugins you can find on the net. My orchestra though, is Edirol Orchestral, old and buggy but very light and does the job 🙂

That’s like asking how painters put their ideas on a canvas or something @_@ I guess I just have to say, never limit yourself or your ideas. Try everything, every possible combination of instruments, melodies and sounds, and see what works for you. Critique yourself and have others do the same so you improve. Obviously easier said than done, but it’s worth it 🙂

  5. My favorite song on here (and probably anywhere else) is and always has been The Eclipse of Time. So much so that I’ve considered (with your permission, of course) porting it to a game called Frets On Fire, which is basically Guitar Hero for the computer. I just thought it would be smart to ask first.

    • … oh good god i should’ve checked this way sooner, i hope this didn’t deter any progress but yeah, you have my permission, sorry orz

  6. LOVE IT ALL. Seriously though. You’re fantastic at what you do and I hope you keep doing it. Will support in whatever you do. I think your best work is Death’s Embrace from the SoM soundtrack. That song is a tough one to write I’m sure. It’s always my favorite though because SoM was my favorite game growing up and I’m so glad you brought it back to life. Which BTW, totally irrelevant sidenote, there is a team of people on steam that actually is legally undermining Square Enix and making a true remake of the original SoM called “Saga of Pandoria”. Different names for everything….same gameplay and everything in totally insane graphics. Here’s the link if you’re interested: http://www.sagaofpandoria.com/

But every one of the tracks is solid. Keep it up! Can’t wait to hear more if you do!
