Well, hello there. I’m Ramon. Once upon a time, a lover of cars, guns and architecture. Now a Computer Science major at the Ateneo de Manila University, a composer, a remixer, a ( bad ) singer, lover of my girlfriend, food and all things cute and fluffy.
As a child, I think my favorite word back then was “innovate”. Aside from playing on toy xylophones and making a career out of my first wind instrument, the recorder, I was also an electronics engineer attaching little battery-operated electric fans to caps and Christmas lights to toy racing cars. It was only when I grew up where I started to realize that my passion had more to do with music than it did electricity. I started playing a number of instruments but am also not technically proficient with any of them, which is why I had a special drive in order to find out how to compose music without being limited by my physical capabilities. This is where the 14-year old me decided to discover how to sequence his own MIDIs, and that started me down the path of digital music composition changing the way I was to live out my passion forever.
Today, I spend my time listening to music I love composed mostly of but not limited to European power metal and — big surprise — video game music, playing a good FPS from time to time or more likely emulating something on my portable devices, taking photography regardless of my lack of a DSLR, watching hockey with my brother and cheering on the Detroit Red Wings or the Toronto Maple Leafs, enjoying all manners of delicious steaks and more often than any of these, living, breathing and reflecting on life.
If you want to know more, I’m always around on Facebook. If you also have an interesting request or proposition for me, my e-mail’s right there and we’ll see what we can do.
Otherwise, that’s kinda boring. If you bother to know more about me then surely I’d be interested in knowing you back, eh? 😉
