——————–

Well, this is a first. It’s one LEAF X MD post that covers three new(ish) songs! I decided to release all of these here already after my earlier announcement. I prefer the complete feeling it’d give instead of one that lacks certain tracks. But no, there are certain things I will never release to public and a certain few know what those things are…D:

So, quick info about the three tracks. The first, “A Memory”, is a cover of “Kokoro”, a song in the free visual novel True Remembrance. This was actually made even before HUZZAH. “Fur Elisa” is a metal remix of Ludwig van Beethoven’s Fur Elise. This one was previously exclusive to LEAF XCEED’s bandcamp page, which I’ll use in the future but definitely not so much now. “Radical Squadron Swat Kats” however…is…something I made today. It’s currently the shortest LEAF X MD release out there lasting for only 36 seconds. It’s a cover of the opening theme of the TV show Swat Kats. Recently I got reminded of the show, and, well, I remembered that the theme was too awesome not to cover. So there. awsm, awsm. πŸ˜€

  1. A 3-in-1 post. A 3-in-1 Rewiew.

First on Radical Squadron Swat Kats. (Had to google that up again)
Well… you didn’t really change anything from what I’ve heard.
You mainly extracted the cool part of the intro and polished it up a bit.(Sounds more clear)

    On Fur Elisa…
(is the “u” intended, or is it “supposed” to be an “ΓΌ”?)
Now that’s one awesome remix of a classic piece.
Gotta try exchanging my Teacher’s Beethoven Disc with this lol.
I don’t relly have any complaints tough it’s more on the funny side of your works.

    On A Memory…
This piece highly reminds me of some of Chronamut’s earlier works.
The melody is calming yet somehow catchy, and awakens memorys of a lot of older Games I should play more often. xD

    • And of course, a 3-in-1 reply!

Radical Squadron Swat Kats is the most direct cover I’ve ever made. I actually made it so that it remained completely faithful to the original theme song, making this more of a cover than a remix.

For Fur Elisa, I really meant the “u” as a symbolism to the fact that normal QWERTY keyboards don’t have “ΓΌ” as a key along with the fact that I wouldn’t bother copy-pasting the actual “ΓΌ” or learning its ALT code. XD Yeah, I admit that this is a funny side of my works, and your idea about exchanging the Beethoven Disc with this proves it. πŸ™‚

A Memory, like Radical Squadron Swat Kats is another cover. The original sounds the same melody-wise with a different instrument and lack of effects XD But the melody alone is already very powerful and emotional especially when you play the game its from. You have to try it *_*

Thanks again for off-NG reviews πŸ™‚
