LEAF XCEED Music Division – Never Forget
…in the end, after such a grand post about saying farewell to Lux Aeterna, here I am with just one last song before I truly say farewell to this computer. 😄 And it’s quite a fitting remix of another one of Yasunori Shiono’s works from Lufia: The Legend Returns/Lufia III, with my last remix from this game being Diary Of Memories (so I have three now, yay!). The more I think about this game, the more I really realize that even though I’m personally biased, this game has got to have the greatest soundtrack I have ever heard in gaming history. Sure, it’s a Game Boy Color sound chip, but each and every melody from the tracks in this game just strike emotions in me like no other.
Anyways, about the song. The reason why I said it was fitting is because if you listen to it, it really does kind of remind you of someone in deep reflection of everything that has happened in life, remembering all the joys and the sorrows…even though the original was just a village theme, I had to remake it so that my interpretation of the melody’s message can be exposed for the world to hear. I’ll never forget everything I’ve been able to do, everything that I achieved, every barrier that I broke, every goal I thought was impossible, with this computer.
And without it, I would never be where I am now.
