New:

Thanks to Shyft, also known for his projects Red Ankh and Philopsycho Lawlawlawl, I recently found out that this actually isn’t an original composition of hers…it’s actually…

Epitaph by Nobuo Uematsu from the original soundtrack of Final Fantasy VI!

According to her, she thought she told me that this wasn’t her original composition…oh I wish she told me earlier ._. I guess these things happen 😄 I’ll just re-upload a copy of Recollection with proper tagging I guess.

Old:

Here is a cover of a friend’s original song. She’s the same person who sent me her friend’s cover of Dali which I remixed as well 😄 Originally called Memory Poem, this song, well, reminded me of Final Fantasy music where you’d be walking around a field in a farm-ish place and there’d be a breeze making little bits of leaves make circular motions in the air…all the while remembering old childhood memories…yep, Memory Poem. Also, since I promised her,

HAPPY BIRTHDAY REIS

2011 Edit:

…whose birthday is October 11.

  1. Very relaxing piece, much better than the classic stuff you uploaded on Newgrounds. Gives that “Generic FinalFantasy-ish Village only existing for Hero-Childhood-Flashback” feeling.(Didn’t play many FinalFantasy parts but they all had a Village like that.)
There isn’t very much else to say.
Clearly hit what is was aimed at… but Nothing overly special.

    • Before replying, I thought I could reply to a reply of a reply, but I couldn’t. 😄

Thanks, but that praise would go to the original composer of the song…whose name you MIGHT’VE read somewhere there in EXTREMELY TINY FONT. 🙂

If you want something original AND classical from me, you can try Eternal Regret or Downstream. But I have a feeling you won’t like them better than this. Ah well, I try. ^^
